Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry (store bought)
  • 1 Cup Shredded Chicken*
  • 1/4 Cup Buffalo Sauce (homemade or store bought)
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese (I like mixing monterey jack, mozzarella and blue!)
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • Optional Chopped Chives or Scallions ((for topping))

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Mix shredded chicken, buffalo sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  • Prepare puff pastry squares by cutting semi-thawed pastry sheet into 36 vessels. See how I do mine in the photos! Bake until golden browned. (about 10 min)
  • Take out and top baked pastry vessels with chicken mixture followed by a sprinkling of cheese.
  • Place under broiler for a few minutes until cheese melts. Finish with chives or scallions and serve!

Recipe Notes

Party Tips*
-Prepare chicken mixture up to 2 days prior and place in fridge. OR weeks ahead and freeze! Just take out the day before party and defrost in fridge.
-Then prepare pastries the day of and top before guests arrive. Pop in oven for a few min. at 350 to melt cheese and reheat pastries.
-Aluminum tins are best to use for parties. They come with a lid to stack in the fridge and can be popped directly in the oven when ready!
*For a quick chicken fix, buy a rotisserie chicken from the store and shred that!
